Old Bridge Basketball's Recreation basketball program is excited to be back serving the youth of our community.

We have always tried to provide a safe environment for our kids to play basketball.

Teams will not be drafted until we have enough coaches
We play a 10-game season starting in January
OBBA strives to divide teams evenly based on talent. Please see the rules for teammate requests here
All Coaches must adhere to the Equal Playing time rules
Championship Day is Saturday March 29, 2025 for most Divisions.
The Jr and Sr Divisions end before HS tryouts are open.
The Instructional Division is held on Sunday morning at Old Bridge HS starting in January

Frequently Asked Questions

How old do you have to be?: Instructional Clinics are for players in 1st and 2nd Grades. Other divisions are grade based up through grade 12

When does the season start?: The draft is done once we have enough coaches. Practices will start in December and Games will begin in January

Can I request to play with a friend?: OBBA will honor SOME requests. One of the benefits of organized sports is meeting new people and creating new friendships

When are games played?: Games are played during the week and weekends depending on school availability. Usually its one game per week and one practice that is contingent upon the coaches availabiltiy.

Where are games and practices held?: All games and practices are held in the Old Bridge Township Schools

How will I know the schedule?: The schedule will be available on the website and in the TeamSideline app ( Available for Apple and Android)
